Detailed Review of Branx Elite Runner Pro

Functions and Performance

As highlighted above the Elite Runner Pro comes with many premium and commercial grade features. The top speed of 21 km/hr covers every ability for serious sprinting.

Combined with the 22 Level automatic incline function the Elite Runner Pro gives you the option of also adding high-intensity hill sprint intervals to your workouts if you want to mix things up.

Fitness Foldable Treadmill

The many preset and manual programs give you all the variety you will need along with the ability to track you workouts – including – time, distance, calories, and even heart rate.

This running machine does have a cooling fan but don’t expect too much from it. Other than that the only thing missing is a pause button. Update for 2020: Branx Fitness listened to the buyer feedback and modified the Elite Runner Pro to accomodate a Pause button. This functionality is extremely handy if you need to grab some more water from the kitchen or take a quick break from your workout.

Noise Levels

Low noise is an area where more expensive treadmills like this one shine. We found the Branx fitness treadmill impressively quiet. Only the sound of your footsteps as you run is noticeable, and even those aren’t too loud due to the cushioning of the suspension system.

You can easily watch TV or listen to music while running, and Branx Elite Pro certainly won’t annoy people in adjoining rooms or other floors of your house/ building.

Size and Weight

Branx Elite Runner Pro - dimensions

The Branx Fitness Treadmill Elite Runner Pro has the following weight and dimensions

  • Assembled Dimensions: (L x W x H) 1900 x 800 x 1320mm
  • Folded Dimensions: (L x W x H) 820 x 800 x 1500mm
  • Boxed Dimensions: (L x W x H) 1850 x 820 x 380mm
  • Running Deck Area (L x W): 1400 x 480mm
  • Boxed Weight: 100 Kg

There is a significant difference between the folded dimensions and boxed dimension, which means you easily store it mostly out of the way if you use to in the bedroom, lounge or other shared space.

Assembly and Delivery

When purchased within the UK, the Branx treadmill will be delivered within 48 hours, while other Islands of the UK can expect delivery within 2-5 business days.

Unlike many cheaper treadmills, the Elite Runner Pro comes mostly pre-assembled. You only need to attach the main components into the upright position with some screws.

Which is good as manual is not the best (and this is a criticism of almost all treadmill manufacturers). That said, you should be able to put it together in about 20 minutes. It does help to have another person on hand to assist with the assembly to hold things in place.

The folding mechanism is hydraulically assisted, so you don’t need to hold the weight of the running desk when unfolding it. It can also be easily wheeled around when folded by one person.

Maximum User Weight

The maximum weight for the Branx Fitness Foldable Treadmill is 160kg (25 Stone/ 350 lb). This is much more than the typical 100kg limit on entry-level models.

In my opinion if you’re heavier than the 160 kg limit, and only plan on brisk walking you would still be fine given the sturdy build quality of the Branx Elite Pro.

Conclusion of Branx Elite Runner Pro Overall Value

Branx Fitness Foldable 'Elite Runner Pro' Soft Drop System Treadmill - 6.5HP Motor 0-22 Level Auto Incline - 'Dual Shock 10-Point Absorption System

Pros

  • Huge deck running (140 x 48cm)
  • 21km/h top running speed
  • Excellent service from Branx Fitness (and delivery assembly went smoothly)
  • 2-year labour and parts and 5-year frame/ motor warranty

Cons

  • When folded it still occupies a larger amount of space than you think.
  • On the expensive side

I’m impressed with the Elite Runner Pro, this model packs in a lot of commercial-grade features for the price, with only a few minor criticisms as outlined above.

This model is also suited to runners over the usual 100 kg weight limit, or if your serious about your training and want a high-performance treadmill that can grow with you as you improve.

Elite Runner Pro LED Display

Yes, it’s more expensive than many other budget models out there. But if you can afford the investment, I feel the features, built quality, and plain satisfaction of using such a quality machine will more than pay off over the long run.

FAQs

Are Cheap Treadmills Worth It?

Cheap treadmills are not worth your investment. The manufacturers use way less quality components to cut costs with the priority of making the most profits. For instance, cheap treadmills have weak motors. If you work it out at its maximum capacity, the motor will burn out quickly. Also, the running belt wears out quickly and is uncomfortable to your joints.

If your primary intention is doing lots of vigorous exercise on the treadmill, be prepared to shell out big cash. For most cheap treadmills, instead of saving in the short term as you’d expect, you might pay more in the long run. For a better quality treadmill, in our case, the Branx Fitness Elite Runner Pro, you might pay out quite a little bit more. Still, you will get quality features, reliability, and durability.

Are Branx Fitness Treadmills Good?

Obviously yes. Branx treadmills have garnered lots of positive reviews from users and critics. Prominent for their brand reliability, the Branx model and the Elite Runner Pro ticks all the boxes regarding any stupendous treadmill specs. With still better and enhanced improvement coming, Branx treadmills are excellent consoles and will be among the top-rated exercise equipment.

Can I Move a Branx Treadmill Occasionally to Another Room?

It all depends on the width of your doors. But most importantly, that is if the width of your door frames allows you to move it, convert the treadmill to the storage position, on the fold, as it was delivered. Since you can easily wheel it around when folded, ensure that the locking wheel pin is tight to avoid injuries. Also, it’s best to have another person on hand to assist with the process.

Does The Branx Fitness’ Elite Runner Pro’ Have an Emergency Stop?

Yes. Like most motorized treadmills, the Branx fitness has a safety key attached to a cord. Once you pull off the emergency stop, all the treadmill’s functionality halts immediately. As the name indicates, the emergency stop key comes in handy in case of an emergency string. You will not be thrown off the treadmill clumsily. Also, in case of a power surge or electrical failure, pulling off the safety key keeps the treadmill safe and functioning.

What’s The Distance Measurement on The Branx Fitness Treadmill?

All Branx treadmills have metric measurements (KM/H). Also, it’s not possible to switch to the imperial measurements (MPH). The large LCD screen displays the speed and distance of your workout session in kilometers. If you prefer the measurement in miles, you can always refer to a separate converter chart to keep track of your workout.
