JTX RunRise
Written by Jamie Miller, Founder & EditorLast checked
We have not run on this machine and we do not pretend to have. What follows is every figure JTX or its retailer publishes about the JTX RunRise, each one carrying where it came from and when we checked it, and an equally plain list of the 2 figures nobody publishes at all.
13 of 15 specifications established from a named source.
What the figures say
Every line below is worked out from the numbers in the table, compared against the other machines we hold records for. None of it is an impression.
In its favour
- It folds to 25 cm, so it goes under or behind something rather than staying in the room.
- The motor figure is published as 1.5 CHP, continuous rather than peak. Most brands leave you guessing which one they mean.
Against it
- The 110 kg ceiling is below the 182 kg of the highest-rated machine we hold.

What nobody publishes
Most sites leave these rows out, which makes a machine look better documented than it is. They are here because knowing what is unknown changes how much weight you put on the rest.
- Motor warrantySeparate motor cover, where a brand publishes one.Not established
- NoiseA measured decibel figure. Not established
Who it suits
Our reading of the figures above, not a verdict on the machine.
- Running
- Up to a point
- Walking
- Yes
- Flat or shared building
- Not established
- Putting it away
- Yes
Running is limited: 18 km/h would allow it, but the running area is 130 x 45 cm, which is narrow for a running stride, and the manufacturer lists Primary Workout Type as "Jogging" rather than Running. Storage is yes on a published 25 cm folded height with transport wheels and no ground-floor delivery restriction. Apartment is unknown - no noise figure is published, and at 67 kg it sits between the light pads and the heavy fixed frames.
How this page was put together
Every figure above was read off a named source, recorded with the date we read it, and is shown with that source attached. Where two sources disagreed we kept both. Where a figure was missing we left it missing, because the alternative is to borrow a number from a similar model and hope. Nothing here is a measurement of ours. How we review.
