NordicTrack Commercial 1750

Written by Jamie Miller, Founder & EditorLast checked

We have not run on this machine and we do not pretend to have. What follows is every figure NordicTrack or its retailer publishes about the NordicTrack Commercial 1750, each one carrying where it came from and when we checked it, and an equally plain list of the 2 figures nobody publishes at all.

What the figures say

Every line below is worked out from the numbers in the table, compared against the other machines we hold records for. None of it is an impression.

In its favour

  • Rated to 182 kg, which almost nothing in the UK consumer market reaches.
  • Incline reaches 12%, enough to make a walk hard work.

Against it

  • At 140 kg it is a two-person lift, and it is not going upstairs easily.

What nobody publishes

Most sites leave these rows out, which makes a machine look better documented than it is. They are here because knowing what is unknown changes how much weight you put on the rest.

Who it suits

Our reading of the figures above, not a verdict on the machine.

Putting it away
Up to a point

Running is yes on the published figures - 20 km/h on a 152 x 55 cm belt, with a 4.25 HP motor whose type is unstated. Apartment is no on mass and permanence rather than noise: 140 kg is the heaviest machine in this research and no decibel figure exists for it or any other. Storage is limited - it does fold, but folding raises it to 175 cm and still leaves a 112 x 94 cm footprint, so it frees floor without being put away. The 182 kg user rating is the figure that sets this machine apart from everything else recorded here.

How this page was put together

Every figure above was read off a named source, recorded with the date we read it, and is shown with that source attached. Where two sources disagreed we kept both. Where a figure was missing we left it missing, because the alternative is to borrow a number from a similar model and hope. Nothing here is a measurement of ours. How we review.
