One of the first things that pop out to you when you feast your eyes on the Cardio Pro is its 5.5 inch, state-of-the-art LCD touchscreen. This touchscreen is the gateway to the whole treadmill and it makes the Cardio Pro a lot easier to use.
From the screen, you can fiddle with the settings as much as you want until you find your sweet spot. It will display all of the data you want to see such as your time, speed, pulse, distance, and more. The touchscreen console also comes with bluetooth and speakers built in, so you can ditch the headphones and run to your favourite tunes blaring on the speakers.
Another great feature of the Branx Cardio Pro is its Smart Shock Absorbshion Running Deck System with great suspension. This can really take the pressure off of your joints. The suspension system has an adjustable cushion system to offer impressive joint relief while running. This lends the treadmill another level of versatility so then no matter whether you’re a light runner or you take heavy lumbering steps while you jog, your joints won’t be under heavy pressure.
Horsepower, Speed & Noise
A motor of the highest quality like that will also ensure that you won’t have to deal with annoying repairs or shelling out to buy a new one. This is because the Branx Fitness Pro is built to last. It’s also good for walking as well as running, reaching top speeds of 17.5 km/h (10.8 mph).
While the Branx Cardio Pro is one of the quieter home treadmills on the market, it will make a faint shushing noise when you’re using it and the standard thudding from the join in the belt as it goes over the front and rear rollers. I have always preferred a bigger running area because sometimes my steps can be a bit all over the place. The large running space is a big plus for me. This also means that it can accommodate a wider range of different running styles.
This all before we even get to the fact that this treadmill is not just any Branx Fitness Cardio Pro, it’s a foldable Cardio Pro. Having a home gym can be costly in terms of space and its foldability is just another way that Branx Fitness has incorporated a high level of versatility into the Cardio Pro, allowing you to stash it neatly when you’re not using it.
Maximum User Weight
The Branx Treadmill Cardio Pro can accommodate a wide range of people with a maximum user weight of 130 kg (20 Stone or about 285 pounds). This represents a significantly higher max weight than you will find on most treadmills out there.
However, because of how strong and sturdy the Cardio Pro is built, I would say that someone who weighs up to 135 – 136 kilos can still safely use this machine so long as they’re not using it for anything more than brisk walking.
Assembly & Delivery
Branx Fitness will deliver its Cardio Pro treadmill to nearly any door in the United Kingdom free of charge. However, Branx is currently unable to deliver to the island of Ireland and some areas in the Scottish Highlands and Islands, which may be subject to a surcharge.
Delivery should be expected between 3 to 10 business days but once your order has been properly processed, Branx Fitness’ team will be able to give you a more accurate timescale. Express delivery is also offered at an additional cost starting at £30 depending on your postcode.
Branx also offers product assembly and installation at an additional cost. However, the Branx Fitness Foldable Cardio Pro will be delivered mostly assembled. There are about 10 screws that you’ll need to navigate but assembly should only take about 15 minutes. I would recommend having someone on hand to help hold the pieces in place while you put it together though.
Compared To Branx Elite Runner Pro
The Cardio Pro isn’t the only top-of-the-line foldable treadmill that Branx Fitness has to offer though: the Branx Fitness Elite Runner Pro also serves as a very good treadmill option. Because they come from the same manufacturer, they will share many features. So what differentiates the two and which one is better for who?
- Although they use a similar sized motor, the Elite Runner Pro has a litte stronger motor pushing that top speed up to (21km/h) than the Cardio Pros 17.5km/h. This means that the Elite Runner Pro is usually the preferred option for more high-speed and athletic runners.
- The Elite Runner’s 22 level incline is also 2 levels higher than the Cardio Pro’s 20 level auto incline and it’s got twice as many programs at 24. You can use all of these inclines and pre-set programs to add things like high-intensity hill sprint intervals into your workout regimen. People looking to keep it fresh and mix up their workouts will really appreciate these features of the Elite Runner Pro.
- While it is foldable like the Cardio Pro, the Elite Runner is slightly bigger, coming in at 185 x W.80 x H.135cm. This means that you need to think a little bit more about the space you’re going to use for your treadmill. Those with larger flats will have less of a problem with this however.
- The Elite Runner Pro also allows anyone up to 160 kg to use the machine which is 30 kg more than what the Cardio Pro offers.
The awesome features and benefits that the Elite Runner Pro offers are similar to the Cardio Pro, but slightly or significantly better across the board. All of that added value does come at a cost though: the Elite Runner Pro costs a around £300 to £400 more than the Cardio Pro goes for but you do get a lot more for the extra.
